Experience CAO:

  • Marvel at the mountains and enjoy the climate with an average high temp in the mid 70’s (F) and very low humidity. June is the end of spring in the mountains but a shower is possible and a strong cold front may drop morning temps, so pack accordingly.

  • Relax each evening in your private room. If you prefer, you can bring roommates for significant savings.

  • Let us take a load off your shoulders. Once you arrive and check-in, the Pedalstroke staff will transport your luggage each day from room to room. Just focus on your pedal stroke and enjoy your vacation.

  • There is no better spice than bicycling to make food delicious! Breakfast and dinner are included each day and lunches are on your own unless noted in the detailed itinerary. The region is an interesting collection of cuisines influenced by tourism, mountainous terrain, and an influx of people from around the world. You can enjoy tapas, distilleries, breweries, rustic landmarks, and northwest style seafood. Nearby Washington’s diversity of fruits and vegetables gives craft brewers, distillers, vintners and restaurateurs an extensive palette to entertain your palate!

  • Your Pedalstroke Tours crew includes a mechanic, massage therapist, and SAG stewards to make your bicycling vacation a thing of wonder.

  • Hall of Fame Rail Trails like the Trail of the Cour d’Alenes and Route of the Hiawatha.

  • Pedal without worrying about your fitness. The grades on this route are moderate (0-3%). High altitude, long climbs and descents will require good bike handling skills. To enjoy this tour we recommend arriving in good fitness. Each day has route options to meet your mood and condition. Choose your daily distance simply by letting the Pedalstroke team know what you’ve chosen for the next day. It’s your vacation, ride what you want!

  • Time to explore and wonder! On CDA. you’ll have time to relax by the lake, take a guided raft ride, see the mountains, stroll through historic towns, or spend some quiet time with the great outdoors.
